Booking, Quotes & Availability
Contact us by website form, email (contact@kgwcleaners.com), or WhatsApp. We’ll ask for the service type, property size, postcode, and any specific extras (oven, internal windows, fridge, inside cupboards). For domestic and one-off work, you’ll usually have a quote back within a few hours. For end-of-tenancy, after-builders, or commercial work, we may arrange a brief site visit or video walkthrough first to make sure the quote reflects the actual scope.
Pricing is based on service type, property size and condition, hours required, and any add-ons. Our headline rates are clear: regular domestic from £15/hr (weekly) or £17/hr (fortnightly), one-off domestic at £18/hr with a 3-hour minimum. Deep cleans, end-of-tenancy, and after-builders work are quoted as packages because the time required varies significantly by condition. We don’t take deposits, and there are no hidden charges — what we quote is what you pay.
We can usually accommodate domestic and one-off bookings within a few working days, and most services begin within 14 days of confirmation. Deep cleans, end-of-tenancy cleans, and commercial work fill quickly during peak periods (end of month, summer turnover season), so earlier enquiries get priority on dates. Short-notice work is sometimes possible depending on availability — it’s worth asking.
We operate Monday to Saturday, 07:00 to 19:00. Out-of-hours and Sunday work can be arranged in advance for commercial clients, end-of-tenancy handovers, and short-let turnovers where timing is critical. This is agreed at the quote stage rather than booked on demand.

What's Included & How the Service Works
Each service has a defined scope. Regular domestic cleaning covers kitchens, bathrooms, floors, surfaces, dusting, vacuuming, and general upkeep of the agreed rooms. Deep cleans add detailed work on appliances, fixtures, skirting, behind accessible furniture, and built-up areas. End-of-tenancy cleans follow landlord and letting agent handover standards. Office and commercial cleans are scoped against the site specification agreed at quote stage. A full written checklist is left on site after every clean so you can see exactly what was completed.
Yes. We bring all standard products and equipment as part of the service. If you prefer specific products used in your home — for sensitivities, surfaces, or household preference — let us know in advance and we’ll accommodate it where practical. For commercial clients, products and consumables can be supplied as part of the contract or by the client, depending on what’s agreed.
Indicative timings: a regular domestic clean of a 2–3 bedroom home is typically 2.5–4 hours. A deep clean of the same property is usually 5–8 hours. End-of-tenancy work runs 4–10 hours depending on size and condition. Commercial cleans are scoped to the site. Final timing is confirmed at quote stage so there are no surprises on the day.
General access to the rooms being cleaned is the main thing. For extras like inside cupboards, fridge, or freezer cleaning, those areas should be emptied beforehand so we can do the work properly. End-of-tenancy clients should remove all personal belongings before we arrive. For commercial sites, any access codes, alarm details, or specific instructions should be shared in advance. We’ll confirm everything you need to know before the booking date.

Trust, Access & Support
No. Many clients aren’t present, especially for recurring domestic cleans and commercial work. We arrange access in advance — keys, key safes, codes, or a brief handover at the first visit. Whatever the arrangement, it’s agreed clearly before the booking. You’ll receive a WhatsApp follow-up within two hours of the clean being completed so you know it’s done.
Yes. KGW Cleaners is fully insured for public liability and accidental damage. The owner is DBS-checked, and all work is currently owner-delivered personally — meaning the person who quotes the job is the person who carries it out. As we grow, all team members will be DBS-checked and trained to the same standard before attending any client site.

Second, every job ends with a written checklist left on site and a WhatsApp follow-up within two hours. Third, photo evidence is provided for end-of-tenancy and short-let turnovers as standard, and on request for any service. Fourth, we keep pricing transparent and don’t ask for deposits.
